Brief info

Trevore Brekken attended college at the University of Minnesota Crookston, earning a bachelor’s degree in plant industries management in 1997. Brekken and his wife of 17 years live in Crookston, Minn. They have two girls ages 11 and 13. With his brother, Brekken and his wife farm around 6,000 acres of soybeans, sugar beets, wheat and corn. He has been a fire fighter for the last 18 years and is currently vice president. He is a board member for Crookston Valley Co-op, which handles seed, fertilizer and crop improvements. He currently is vice president and is the former president. Additionally, he is a board member of a local fuel distributor and C-store.
He got involved in Minnesota Soybean Growers Association (MSGA) through the Dupont (now Corteva) Young Leader program.
