Ag Innovation Campus located in Crookston, Minnesota, serves as an incubator for agricultural innovations, with a goal to foster new and novel products, create jobs and increase the value of agriculture in the region, state, and nation. The Controller will function as a business partner to provide financial leadership and guidance with the facility Manager and Board of Directors/Owners so that the financial results can be effectively managed. In conjunction with onsite personnel, this position will be responsible for the accurate and timely reporting of monthly, quarterly, and annual financials in accordance with GAAP. In addition, the controller will assist in the development and implementation of internal controls as well as function as a liaison with lenders and other key financial relationships.
The purpose of this position is to operate the plant and produce quality products by executing all standard operating procedures within parameters to achieve plant production goals. The Procurement/Merchandising Manager is responsible for managing the daily activities surrounding feedstock acquisition and handling, product sales, and product load out processes that directly support the facility and its customers. Ensuring standards for procurement, risk management, inventory management, efficiency, safety, quality control and customer service are met.
Responsible for the repair and maintenance of the plant equipment, to ensure maximum production quantity and quality, while supporting the policies, goals, and objectives of the company.
